The function and layout of the mobile app differ from the web application. Both applications provide an overview of the low and high priority alarms, have the possibility to filter this alarm overview and to view detailed information of alarms and to acknowledge alarms.
The mobile app is useful if you want to be notified directly if a high priority alarm occurs. You can select which systems you want to receive notifications from. Receiving notifications can be disabled.
The mobile app also offers the possibility to acknowledge all alarms of one system at once. A system with not-acknowledged alarms is shown with a red icon.
In the web application, it is possible to delete alarm an alarm that is older than one week, but has not yet received an ‘off’ message. By clicking on Delete you actually give the alarm an ‘off’ message and it thus becomes an inactive alarm.
The web application consists, besides the Alarm Monitor, also of an Alarm Scheduler. The Scheduler allows you to schedule technicians who need to resolve the problems causing the alarms.
