You register and configure the Edge Gateway in Installation & Maintenance (I&M).
If you have a local network without DHCP or if you use a proxy server, you will need to configure the gateway via the local configurator (via service port LAN 3).
There are more differences in what can be configured in the local configurator and what can be configured in I&M. The differences are listed below:
