Mute notifications for an alarm, temporarily and indefinitely

Notification Center allows you to mute notifications for an alarm. When you mute notifications, you will no longer receive any type of notifications for that specific alarm. Choose to mute notifications temporarily (1 or 8 hours) or to turn off notifications. This is a personal setting; when you mute notifications, other users will continue to receive notifications.

When you mute an alarm, a personal rule will be created automatically. If you want to unmute an alarm, remove the relevant rule. See Set up rules. The rule for a temporarily muted alarm will disappear automatically when the time has elapsed.
