With the release of the scheduling functionality, the Notification Center is the full replacement of Priva Alarms. Priva Alarms will be discontinued as of March 31, 2023 (this only applies to Building Automation, Horticulture will follow later).
How to transition from Priva Alarms to Notification Center:
Make sure Notification Center can receive the alarms
There are two situations in which Notification Center does not receive the alarms:
- using a Cloud Connector with Compri HX hardware
- using a non-updated Cloud Connector with Priva Blue ID hardware
For these situations, it is recommended to change the subscription from BMS to PDS and replace the Cloud Connector with an Edge Gateway. For Priva Blue ID, updating the Cloud Connector is sufficient. The Cloud Connector update package is available on the Support Portal.
If you don't want to switch to a PDS subscription yet, 'alarm forwarding' can be set up. Alarm forwarding means that the alarms will still be received by Priva Alarms (but Priva Alarms is no longer accessible) and forwarded to the Notification Center. Contact Priva to set this up for you.
Note that alarm forwarding has some downsides:
- Updated projects may not have the relevant metadata and newly added alarms will appear in an unreadable format in Notification Center.
- The alarm forwarder will be discontinued as of March 31, 2024.
Get access - Access Control permission
You need the 'Manage organizational settings' permission to have access to the schedule tab of the Notification Center. If you do not have this permission yet, ask the administrator to grant it to you.

Learn to work with the Notification Center by following the Notification Center Academy training.
Recreate your schedules
Unfortunately, the schedules created in Priva Alarms can’t be transferred to Notification Center. Be sure to re-create the schedules you need in Notification Center before March 31, 2023.
If desired, request customized email templates
Notification Center does not (yet) offer the possibility to customize the email template. If you do still desire custom templates, please contact Priva so they can create them for you.
