If you have received an email from Priva (noreply@priva.com) titled ‘Update your Priva account’, your administrator wants to change the type of your account to improve the security of your authorization method. The email tells you which account type your administrator enforced, which can be either Microsoft Entra ID or custom with MFA (multifactor authentication). For more info, see Account type restriction.
Note that MFA is an account setting; it is not linked to an organization. This means that if the administrator enforces MFA for you for their organization, you will have to sign in with MFA for all organizations to which you have access with your account.
Use the button in the email to configure your new account. Your current account will be disabled within 14 days or immediately, depending on your administrator’s choice. The invite is valid for 30 days as specified in the email.
