After installing the Control Applications release 8.1.33.5, users can add the module to the project in TC Engineer and then commission and upload the project.
- In the project in TC Engineer, make sure that you have a (General) subsystem where you can place the module.
- Find the module in the List of control modules: the module will be under Interfaces – Product Interfaces – Priva Weather Data service: Priva Weather Data Interface.

Click and drag the module under the chosen subsystem in the Description window. Use only the default settings.
Note: Only add 1 Weather Data Module to the project. If you add more, the service won’t work.
- Commission and upload the project.
- The weather information will be visible in Building Operator (as long as the conditions and requirements are met). This may take up to 24 hours to appear.
Conditions and requirements for the Weather Data Service:
- Active Plus Package subscription for this project site.
- Edge Gateway
- Blue ID controller
- TC 8.8.6 onwards
- Commission with the default parameters of the control module.
- The address of the (project) site must be known to Priva. You can check this in My Priva, under the Sites tab; the correct address must be shown in the Address column to the right of the Site name. If the address is missing or incorrect, please contact Priva support to have it corrected. The service will not work (correctly) if the address is missing or incorrect.
