Alarms either come from the local Priva system or relate to cloud communication.
Alarms from the Priva system
An alarm can be triggered by a malfunction or control logic condition from the Priva system. The alarm groups of these alarms are predefined in the engineering software. Alarms with no severity (e.g., operating messages) do not appear in the monitor, only high and low severity alarms.
Building Automation: The alarms are configured in Top Control by the engineer. The Priva Digital Services manual on the Support Portal describes all the steps that must be carried out to make the alarms appear in the Notification Center.
Horticulture: Connext and Compass Operator allow you to set alarm limits for measured values. If a measurement exceeds the values you specify, an alarm will show up in Notification Center.
Alarms related to cloud communication
The alarm group ‘cloud’ includes the alarms related to cloud communication. This alarm group is predefined by Priva. At this moment, it only includes the ‘Gateway communication lost’ alarm which means that the communication between the Edge Gateway and the Priva Cloud is lost (indicated with status ‘offline’ in Installation & Maintenance).
Notification Center is prepared to show any other type of alarms in the future, for example when anomalies are detected by comfort, energy, and installation smart services. |
