The app scans the project for tags that are in long-term storage. In order to see anything in Smart Insights, the following requirements must be met.
Requirements to set up Smart Insights:
- User has Analytics Building rights Manage Reports for the site in question as well as Cloud Operator Site access and Manage cloud history data points rights.
- Site has the Priva Plus package
- Project has tagged data points, including at least one outside temperature data point.
- The tagged data points have been added to long-term storage.
- At least one tagged outside temperature data point has been added to long-term storage (and has actual data available in the history)
- For energy insights, there must also be at least one tagged gas or electricity meter data point added to long-term storage (with actual historical data available)
- For comfort insights, there must also be at least one tagged indoor temperature data point added to long-term storage (with actual historical data available)
Note: some data points in the standard Priva library already have tags embedded within them, so it is possible that you immediately see charts in Smart Insights. If you don't see any insights, however, data points can also be manually tagged in TC Engineer (Tagging data points in TC Engineer).
