In TC Engineer, select the module in the project tree Description window. In the Configure tab, various data are available:
Under General, in Weather data updates enable, there are 2 variables:
Weather data update enable [setting]: this is a toggle to switch the Weather Data Service for the (project) site on or off.
Weather data update operational: shows whether the Weather Data Service is operational (online) or offline.
Data retrieval alarm: shows if anything is wrong: disconnection or failure to write a value to datapoint. The system tries to update the data every 15 minutes. If this fails for 65 minutes, the alarm will activate.
In Meteo data – current condition, the following elements are available:
Outside temperature: the current temperature outdoors at your location.
Apparent outside temperature: the current perceived (feels-like) temperature outdoors at your location, combining wind chill factor, relative humidity and solar radiation
Solar radiation: the amount of sunlight at your location.
Relative outside humidity: the current relative humidity at your location.
Average wind speed: the current average wind speed at your location.
These values are updated every 15 minutes. We recommend including the check mark for graph of current outside temperature as this is useful for tracking.
In Meteo data – forecasts, the following elements are available:
Outside temperature: the forecast outdoor temperature at your location. There are values provided in 2 hour increments for the next 24 hours, as well as maximum and minimum temperatures for the coming 24 hours.
Solar radiation: the forecast amount of sunlight at your location. There are values provided in 2 hour increments for the next 24 hours.
