Wireless sensors provide the flexibility to place measurements exactly where they are needed within your crop production facility. Whether monitoring the microclimate at the top of the crop or around the fruits in the lower canopy, you can decide which additional data points are required to gain deeper insight into the crop environment. By deploying extra sensors, deviations in climate conditions can be detected quickly, allowing you to identify and address the root cause without the need for extensive manual checks.
The following Aranet wireless sensors can be fully integrated with the control software of the Priva Compass as of version 127250901 (released October 23, 2025):
Temperature measurements
Any Aranet sensor that measures temperature can be used by Priva Compass and configured for one of the following input types:
- Air temperature input
- Leaf temperature input
- Local temperature input
- Soil temperature input
- Outside temperature input
- Black plate temperature input
- Irrigation sensor input
- General measurement input
Humidity measurements
- Air humidity input
- Outside humidity input
- Irrigation sensor input
- General measurement input
Carbon dioxide measurements
- CO2 input
- Irrigation sensor input
- General measurement input
Moisture measurements
- Irrigation sensor input
- General measurement input
EC measurements
Aranet sensors measuring pore EC (pEC) or bulk EC (bEC) are supported and can be configured as:
- Irrigation sensor input
- General measurement input
Note that the Aranet EC sensor cannot be configured as EC measurement, EC verify, EC precontrol measurement or EC drain measurement sensor!
PAR measurements
Aranet sensors measuring photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) can be configured as:
- Inside light sensor
- Outside light sensor
- General measurement input
Weight measurements
Aranet weight (mass) sensors can be configured as:
- Weigh scale measurement sensor
- Irrigation sensor input
- General measurement input
