Access and operate the project via Remote Management. |
Site-specific for TC ≥ 8.8.4.5* | |
Commissioning the project via Remote Management (via TC Engineer). |
Site-specific for TC ≥ 8.8.4.5* |
* Only for TC ≥ 8.8.4.5 sites, it is possible to grant these TC permissions at the site level.
If a user needs these permissions for TC < 8.8.4.5 sites, then these permissions can only be granted at the organization level.
Also, if the user needs these permissions for both < 8.8.4.5 and ≥ 8.8.4.5 sites, these permissions can only be granted at the organization level. This is because it is not possible to grant a user site-specific permissions for TC ≥ 8.8.4.5 sites if this user also needs TC permissions for TC < 8.8.4.5 sites.
In conclusion, use a role with these TC permissions in it only at the site level if the user needs these permissions for TC ≥ 8.8.4.5 sites only.
Access Control does not check for TC version. So if you do grant site-level permissions for a TC < 8.8.4.5 site they will not take effect for the user, but you will not get a warning of this in Access Control. |
