Historical Data Storage is only included in the Essentials and Plus packages .
You need the 'Manage cloud history data points' permission to add and remove data points from the long-term storage and to access the 'Historical data management' page.
The Historical Data Storage involves both short-term and long-term storage.
By default, data points that show trending information will display short-term data which is up to 3 or 7 days, depending on your subscription. Note that short-term storage is not supported for Compri HX.
If you want to display long-term historical data, you have to save data points for long-term storage.

Historical data management
An overview of all data points that have been added to the long-term storage can be found on the 'Historical data management' page which can be accessed via the side panel of Building Operator ( > Historical data management).
Remove data points: By selecting data points and then clicking the Remove button, you can remove one or multiple data points from the long-term storage (not from the project). Doing this will make the long-term data no longer available in the Priva Digital Services. Note that short-term data is still available (not supported for Compri HX and not included in the Starter package).
Download CSV: By selecting data points and then clicking the Download CSV button, a CSV will be downloaded. It contains the data from the last 4 weeks. A CSV can contain up to 10 data points.
The CSV uses commas as decimal markers. Please note that the values may be displayed incorrectly in some applications where the dot is set as a decimal marker.
Greyed-out data points: If data points are shown greyed out in the overview, it means that they could not be found because they have been deleted from the project. You can choose to remove these data points from the long-term storage.
‘[number] stored data point(s) cannot be displayed’ alert: This message is displayed if data points previously stored in the long-term storage could not be found and also the metadata of these data points is not known (such as the description, location and point reference). This may be due to a temporary loss of communication, for example. Try to fix it by refreshing the page. If the problem persists, you can choose to remove these data points from the long-term storage.
How to save data points for long-term storage?
- Go to the associated chart in Building Operator.
- Click the pencil icon to edit.
- Turn on the switches for each data point you want to save for long-term storage.
- Press Save changes.
Historical Data Storage subscription license options
The table below shows all license options for Historical Data Storage. Note that unlike short-term storage, long-term storage applies to a limited number of data points. For that reason, you need to select which data points you want to save for long-term storage as described above.
