If a user is removed from Access Control, this person's time slots will not be automatically removed from the schedules. The time slots need to be removed manually or assigned to other people.
As for the notifications, the schedule will behave as if there is no time slot, so the next escalation level will be activated immediately. Therefore, make sure you always use multiple escalation levels.
