To use the Priva Digital Services for Compri HX hardware, the project must be fully configured and commissioned in TC Select. Make sure the steps below have been completed.
- A) Assign the function ‘Network manager’ to a Compri HX
- B) Add a PC/WebEngine to the Network manager
- C) Make sure all controllers are scanned by the Network manager
- D) Make sure that all alarm groups are buffered in the Network manager
- E) Make sure TC ServeCenter doesn't use the same PC connection of the Network manager
- F) Commission the project
After the project is commissioned, you will need to upload the metadata to the cloud.
A) Assign the function ‘Network manager’ to a Compri HX*
* Only carry out this step if the project contains multiple controllers.
- Go to Data network.
- Select the controller you wish to set as Network manager.
- In pane Controller, select Network manager.
If two network managers are used for the project, make the configurations in the following steps for Network manager 1.
B) Add a PC/WebEngine to the Network manager
Depending on the network configuration:
> Ethernet routing (main data network RS485/RS232, Ethernet port available via HX 6E/8E):
- Select Main datanet.
- In pane Data network configuration, under Ethernet select Ethernet PC/WebEngine.
> Directly via Ethernet (main data network Ethernet):
- Select the controller that is set as the Network manager.
- Click on the icon Add Ethernet PC/WebEngine.
> Serial (main data network RS485/RS232):
- Select the controller that is set as the Network manager.
- Click on the icon Add PC/WebEngine.
Note that the PC/WebEngine requires a license.
C) Make sure all controllers are scanned by the Network manager
By scanning all controllers, all alarms will be collected on the Network manager.
- Select the controller that is set as the Network manager.
- In pane Controller, click on Select... under Network manager.
- Select all controllers and room control units.
D) Make sure that all alarm groups are buffered in the Network manager
The Edge Gateway reads the buffer of the Network manager.
- Select the controller that is set as the Network manager.
- In pane Ports, select PC/WebEngine.
- In pane Port configuration, select Print messages.
- Click on Select... under Print messages.
- Select all desired groups.
E) Make sure TC ServeCenter doesn't use the same PC connection of the Network manager
- Make sure TC ServeCenter doesn't use the same PC connection of the Network manager as the Edge Gateway.
Note that if they would use the same PC connection, the buffer will be emptied by TC ServeCenter and no alarms will be shown in Notification Center.
F) Commission the project
Make sure the project has been fully commissioned with TC Select version 6.6.5.0 or higher.
Make sure that the Compri HX has system software 2.1 or higher.
